Healing Touch Massage and Spa offers a wide variety of massage styles and services. Below are our services and rates.

You have a choice of scheduling a massage with either a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) or an Intern (if an Intern is available). Our CMTs have a minimum of 500 hours training. Our Interns have completed their classroom training at our school and are fulfilling their hands-on requirements.

What to expect: When you first arrive you are first asked to fill out a brief health form. You are then taken back to one of our quiet, warmly lit massage rooms. In the privacy of the massage room you disrobe to your level of comfort and lie between our soft, warm fleece sheets. We do NOT require complete disrobing - your comfort is of paramount importance to us. You are always completely covered, except for the area of your body on which the therapist is working.

Our massage tables are padded with therapeutic cushions, as well as heated (which helps to keep your muscles warm and relaxed once the therapist has worked them, and feels good--even in the summer).

Regardless of the length of session you choose there is never a "standard" or "routine" massage. It is your time, and you choose which parts of the body the therapist works on. We do require a minimum of an hour to give a full body massage. But, for example, if during an hour session you only want your back, neck and feet worked on, that's what the therapist will do. As long as your requests are within the capabilities of the therapist, your requests will be honored, with the exception of the seated massage sessions.

All of our Massage Therapists (CMTs as well as Interns) are trained in Swedish-Esalen Massage which offers a general body relaxation, circulatory massage. They are also all trained to give a muscle-specific Therapeutic Massage. Every CMT has certification in the Swedish-Esalen technique, as well as training in a variety of other techniques, such as Deep Tissue Massage, Sports Massage, Reflexology, Trigger Point Therapy, Aromatherapy, Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Reiki and others. If you are looking for a specific technique, be sure to ask the receptionist to schedule your appointment with the therapist who is trained in that technique.

Please Note: In order to better serve our clientele, all appointment changes and cancellations must be made at least 24 hrs in advance. For spa packages and parties of two or more we require 48 hrs notice for changes or cancellation. If we do not receive the required notice, you are responsible for full payment. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
