Therapeutic Massage is a general term that describes multiple massage modalities that help relieve pain, reduce stress, and work on a specific problem. People tend to assume Therapeutic Massage means Deep Tissue massage, but this is not always the case. Deep Tissue Massage is appropriate in certain circumstances, but it may not be what you need on a particular day or what a particular part of your body needs. Our therapists use a variety of techniques during a massage – sometimes because of a recommendation by your therapist or a request from you. S/he will apply the specific techniques and the right amount of pressure to address your needs and requests – from gentle to deep. Some of the modalities that our Therapists are trained in are: Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Myofascial Release (MFR), Lymphatic Drainage Massage (LDM), Cupping, Swedish, Trigger Point and Gentle Massage.
